GHD series chemical hermetic disk pumps

DESIGN FEATURES AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION:

  • handling high-viscous (up to 10,000 cSt) chemically active and toxic liquids, petroleum products with a high content of abrasive and fibrous inclusions in hazardous facilities;
  • excellent leakage elimination of the working chamber ensured by a system of mechanical seals covered by a stationary heavy-duty engineering ceramics shield;
  • torque transfer via a system of SmCo and NdFeB permanent magnets;
  • liquid end made of stainless steels and alloys;
  • volume content of solids, abrasives and fibers (up to 2 mm) in the pumped medium up to 15%;
  • working temperature from 40° to +150°С;
  • comply with TDFA.062815.000TU;
  • the only hermetic disk pumps produced in Russia;
  • comply with the Customs Union Technical Regulations TR TS 004, 010.

LIQUID END MATERIALS:

  • ХН65МВ alloy (Cr, Ni 65%, Mo, W);
  • 12X18H10T type steel (C 0.12%, Cr 18%, Ni 10%, Ti up to 1.5%);
  • 06XH28MДT alloy (C 0.06%, Cr, Ni 28%, Mo, Cu, Ti);
  • 10X17H13M2T type steel (C 0.10%, Cr 17%, Ni 13%, Mo 2%, Ti up to 1.5%).

 

 

 

 

 

 

The discharge pressure in the hermetic disk pump is created by a working mechanism consisting of two parallel disks, which move the product using the forces of viscous resistance. These pumps have major advantages over centrifugal pumps when handling high viscous, inhomogeneous and abrasive media.
The use of hybrid (composite) seals helps to completely eliminate leakages of highly viscous (up to 10,000 cSt) aggressive media containing large quantities of solid and fibrous inclusions.
Hermetic disk pumps have been used to handle:

  • viscous petroleum products, such as resins, tarmac, asphalt, etc.;
  • chemical products with a high content of suspensions: pulp, emulsions, etc;
  • mixtures in pulp and paper and tobacco industries;
  • liquid polymers, gels, greases, syrups, etc.
