DESIGN FEATURES AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION:
Type VS4 VND motor pump (with a wet column for pumping liquids up to 200оС and more) meets the API 610 requirements.
- suspension shaft structures on roller bearings with a coolant inlet and flushing with the pumping fluid;
- upper shaft is hinged to the motor shaft by means of a diaphragm coupling;
- mechanical seal used: CAPI A1 DUAL;
- end face mechanical seal unit located on the pump baseplate;
- mechanical seal piping is designed without stub junctions.

- 35ХМЛ steel (C 0.35% max, Cr, Mo);
- 12X18H10T type steel (C 0.12%, Cr 18%, Ni 10%, Ti up to 1.5%);
- 10X17H13M2T type steel (C 0.10%, Cr 17%, Ni 13%, Mo 2%, Ti up to 1.5%);
- 09Г2С steel (C 0.9%, Mn up to 2%, Si);
- 06XH28MДT alloy (C 0.06%, Cr, Ni 28%, Mo, Cu, Ti).
VND50/50A, fully compliant to the API 610 type VS4 (with a wet column for pumping liquids up to 200оС and more) requirements, is a development of the basic VND type pump design and differs from the previously manufactured VND series:
- suspension shaft bearings on roller bearings with a coolant inlet and flushing with the pumping fluid;
- suction and outlet joints have the same diameter (DN 80);
- upper and lower shafts are connected by means of key joints with the lens-shaped Woodruff key excluding intermediate non-metallic parts such as ring gears;
- upper shaft is hinged to the motor shaft by means of the RADEX (KTR) diaphragm coupling;
- mechanical seal used: CAPI A1 DUAL compliant to API610 and API682 requirements;
- end face mechanical seal unit located on the pump’s baseplate;
- mechanical seal piping is designed without stub junctions and makes use of flanges;
- AES15 vessel is used;
- using counterfalnge of the pressure line for 4.0 MPa (PN40).
The pump is designed to handle clean liquids. If necessary, it can be fitted with a filter for pumping contaminated media.
